Story Behind It
The history of Paradise Beach is linked to the recognition of its natural beauty and its relationship with the nearby islet. The name "Paradise" was given by the first visitors who were impressed by the area's unique natural beauty, where the fine sand and shallow, clear waters, combined with the dense pine forest reaching the shore, genuinely create an idyllic, tropical atmosphere.
Directly opposite lies the islet of Koiniyra, which takes its name from the wider area and acts as a natural artistic element while adding a sense of protection to the cove and its exceptionally clear waters. Furthermore, despite being an organized and popular destination, Paradise Beach retains large free sections, a testament to its vast size and the conscious effort to maintain the pristine natural structure that initially made it famous.
